When I upload pictures from my iPhone to iCloud and then download them from iCloud to my PC, the picture files are compressed, smaller in size (KB) than the original. How can I keep the original size file in uploads and downloads? It's frustrating.

So, nothing eh? You and Apple should just admit iCloud compresses pictures to save bandwidth and thus you cannot get download same quality picture from iCloud that you have on your iPhone. phone. That I believe is the real answer.

I have a 2.6 MB picture file on my iPhone 8. When I upload it to iCloud and then download it to my PC, the picture file is 670 KB, not nearly the quality of the iPhone picture. I've gone through all the settings and it should be storing a full version of the picture. But that's not what's coming back from iCloud. How do I preserve the 2.6MB file throughout the upload and download process.

How can I keep the original size file when I go to download from iCloud? In an infuriating turn of events, my iphone doesn't stay connected via the cord so the only way to access pictures taken on my phone are through iCloud, but as I said the image quality is inferior when accessed this way.

How can I synchronize new pictures both from the phone to iCloud and from iCloud to my phone but not download them on the phone to not use the memory?
